On April 9th, 2021, students in Southern California founded the ninetieth branch for the Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States (AYLUS): Riverside County, CA.

Description of the Riverside County Branch

Our mission is to promote teamwork while engaging in hands-on volunteer activities that will focus on STEAM-related projects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) as well as social and environmental issues all while giving back to our communities.

This means we want to bring educational opportunities in STEAM-related fields to the community and excite and empower young minds about the future that lies ahead. From science to art camps, to preparations for math competitions and coding, to tutoring, the opportunities are endless. We also want to volunteer in fields that are dear to our hearts for example by bringing joy to our elderly through music, by hosting a park clean-up, or cheering on our local healthcare workers with thank you bags and cards just to name a few.

We are looking for engaging new members and can’t wait to get to know you!

How can I become a member?

  1. Enroll as a new member here.
  2. Once enrolled, you will receive a reply via email with further information and two forms (liability waiver and media release form) to sign and fill out.
  3. Once we have received the signed forms, we will email you with a date for a virtual intro meeting, where we will tell you more about ourselves and the events we are supporting.
