Riverside County AYLUS Hosts its Second Park Clean-Up on July 2nd, 2021 (20)

On July 2nd, 2021, RCA members got together for another Harveston park clean-up. All participants wore masks and gloves during this event. Tools such as grabbers and trash bags were used to help with this effort. The group worked on cleaning up the park from any visible litter and trash such as plastic bottles, cups, paper, and other debris. The trash was then properly disposed of.

Keeping our community parks clean and beautifully brings not only joy and satisfaction but it also helps keep our environment intact. Plastic pollution harms not only the growth of our plants and trees but it also can have a devastating effect on the local wildlife. By removing the trash and especially the plastic, the group helps local plants to thrive in their natural environment and ensures a safer surrounding for local birds and other animals. The community has continued to express its gratitude and support for RCAs mission. RCA will continue to help with local conservation efforts while keeping our local parks clean.

Volunteers: Sophie Chung 2 hrs, Chandler Berry 2 hrs, Jacob Navarro 2 hrs, Nicholas Navarro 2 hrs, Paola Humbert 2 hrs
