Riverside County AYLUS Raises Funds to Support the Local Animal Shelter in November 2023

Several Members of the RCA branch, decided to participate in a local craft fair to raise funds for a local animal shelter. Sophie Chung, Evan Chang and Kyan Chang created handmade crafts from hair accessories to home decor. Over several days these members worked hard on creating beautiful items for the sale.
The craft fair took place over several hours on a beautiful November day. With the funds that the members raised they purchased donations for the local animal shelter. Sophie Chung added to the donations a few handmade toys as well. During the fair, the members displayed the AYLUS banner and also used this as an opportunity to explain the work of the branch within the community. Seeing the struggles of the local shelter has pulled at the heart of many of the members. As the weather is cooling down the members have discussed other ways of helping the shelter going forward.
