Riverside County AYLUS Members Show Appreciation for Frontline Workers on June 10th and June 13th, 2021 (9)

On June 10th, AYLUS Riverside County member Sophie Chung, a friend, as well as Jacob Navarro drew thank you cards for our frontline workers. Matthew Nguyen and Alexander Nguyen added their part to this project on June 13th.

The team illustrated the cards and added some encouraging and inspirational messages to uplift the spirits of these workers. COVID-19 has raged throughout the world and within our communities. It has brought our frontline workers oftentimes to the brink of exhaustion. Those workers still work day and night to keep us safe. From social and mental health workers to nurses, doctors, grocery store clerks, and more. Many have put their needs behind ours. Even with a lower infection case number due to the rise in vaccinations, AYLUS Riverside County simply wants to show how much their work is still appreciated.

Volunteers: Matthew Nguyen 2.5hrs (June 13th), Alexander Nguyen 2 hrs (June 13th),  Sophie Chung 2 hrs,  (June 10th)  Jacob Navarro 1.5 hrs (June 10th).
