Riverside County AYLUS Members Keep Supporting the Local Animal Shelter during the Month of October 2023

During the month of October, RCA continued its support for the local animal shelter. The group recycled old t-shirts. The shirts were prepared, cut into strips and then braided. Many local animal shelter have been in distress in recent weeks due to overpopulation. Oftentimes these animals stay in the shelter for days if not weeks and months with little to no entertainment. This has a negative impact on the animals. The group hopes that these toys will help alleviate the loneliness and the boredom that many of these animals are experiencing. By recycling old t-shirts, the group also helped reduce the trash on the landfills thus helping the environment at the same time.
