Two RCA members volunteered at an Animal Sanctuary that has focused on rescuing animals from the slaughterhouse including as many as (currently) 70 horses. Many of them are Mustangs who were rescued from auctions. After initiating contact with the rescue an appointment was made to get introduced to the sanctuary, get to know the animals and help with whatever work was needed on site.
With that many animals the sanctuary was grateful to get the support in taking care of the animals. RCA has supported local animal sanctuaries in the past and will continue to do so.
