Riverside County AYLUS Shows Support for the Environment by Collecting and Separating Recyclables during the month of July, 2022 (July 6th – July 23rd, 2022)

During the month of July several RCA members collected recyclables over several days by scouting their neighborhoods as well as their own trash and preparing the recyclables through organizing them and unscrewing all the caps of donated bottles to help prepare them for the actual recycling. The amount received for the recyclables will be used for a school supply drive.

RCA members want to contribute to a greener environment with less pollution while promoting a healthier way of living. Air and water pollution deteriorate the quality of our soil and also contribute to global climate change. Riverside County AYLUS wants to combat the pollution with regular recycling events and park clean-ups.
