On March 19th, 2023, two of RCA members created a garage sale to raise funds for a local elementary school. Kayla and Alyssa Paulsen emptied their closets and accepted donations from family and friends. The goal was to help the elementary school library with book donations. They both spend their morning setting up the garage sale while arranging their items and their displays. They also added a lemonade stand. The money raised was spent on purchasing various elementary school friendly books that were then donated to the school. Many schools have had to cut back on programs such as art, music as well as the purchasing of books. In order to keep young children reading and entertained, these two sisters decided to make a local impact by contributing books to an elementary school library.
