Riverside County AYLUS Raises Funds Through Baked Cookies for the STAT Animal Shelter on August 3rd-5th, 2022

Animals are deer to the heart of RCA members and thus the group decided to raise funds through home baked cookies. After gathering all the supplies from cookie dough to gift bags and parchment papers the volunteers got to work. After hours of baking the cookies were then wrapped in nice gift bags and were ready to be given away. Each bag contained 5 cookies. The group then gathered to distribute the cookies in the neighborhood. This event was not about selling but more about donating these cookies to neighbors and friends while accepting any donation in return. In the end well over 250 cookies were baked and over $160 raised. The leftover cookies were then traded in for animal food. The funds raised will go towards buying animal food for the animals at the STAT animal shelter.
