Branch of the Month Award (SEP 2021)
On June 24th, 2020, three students from East Brunswick High School in New Jersey founded the sixty-fifth branch for the Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States (AYLUS): Raritan Valley, NJ.

Founders:
The founders of the Raritan Valley Branch are Benjamin Hong, Tarun Sivakumar, and Amy Xu.
Description of the Raritan Valley Branch
The Raritan Valley Branch of the Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States (AYLUS) is located in central New Jersey. We are a student-run volunteer group. Following AYLUS’s motto of leadership, integrity, and innovation, our branch aims to lead the youth group through volunteer services utilizing group members’ talents and skills to give back to the local community. At the Raritan Valley Branch, we strongly believe that personal growth and community service go hand-in-hand. Volunteering not only offers vital help to people in need and to the community, but also helps to develop sense of social responsibility, self-confidence, leadership skills, problem-solving skills and communication skills, among others, bringing happiness and fulfillment to life. Our branch is open to both high school members and junior members from K to 8th grade to help cultivate volunteerism from a young age. Raritan Valley Branch strives to provide every volunteer opportunity, big or small, in academic assistance, environmental protection, or any other field, to interested youth so that they can reach their full potentials and make a positive impact on the community.
