Raritan Valley Branch Completed Eco Project #4 on August 15, 2020

On August 15th, 2020, members of the AYLUS Raritan Valley Branch conducted a park cleanup at East Brunswick’s Bicentennial Park. Stretching for 34 acres, this massive park includes playgrounds, tennis courts, baseball fields, picnic areas, access to the adjacent Farrington Lake, and much more. Being East Brunswick’s largest and most popular park, AYLUS volunteers were able to fill several trash bags with plastic water bottles, plastic bags, styrofoam boxes, broken glass shards, and other types of litter found in the woods near the lake. We hope to return again to Bicentennial Park in the future to clean up the other parts to maintain the beauty of this incredible park.

Volunteers: Benjamin Hong (1.5 hours), Tarun Sivakumar (1.5 hour), Amy Xu (1.5 hours), Kevin Xu (1.5 hours), Jessica Hong (1.5 hours), Alicia Xu (1.5 hours)
