Raritan Valley Branch Participated in a Musical Performance for the Brandywine Living in Princeton on June 25, 2023

On June 25, 2023, the volunteers at AYLUS Raritan Valley held a musical performance for the senior residents at the Brandywine Living in Princeton. In the week leading up to the event, the volunteer performers arranged and rehearsed musical pieces that the audience would be sure to enjoy. The residents were excited to see the young performers as they gathered early to get the best seats for the performance. The Six to One band performed jazz standards and nostalgic favorites while the soloists and a special orchestral duet performed classical pieces that truly filled the program. The performance was truly a delight for all the participants as the audience clapped, sang along, and even tried to dance. All the residents provided lovely feedback, and as some of them put it, music continues to bring joy to everyone’s lives.

Thank you to all the volunteers who came to help with this performance!
