Raritan Valley Branch Completed Eco Project #7 on November 7, 2020

Reported by Jason Liu

On November 7th, 2020, we returned to Dallenbach’s Trail to pick up litter around the area. When everyone participating arrived, we began our walk in the woods. At the start, there was a scarce amount of waste in the area, which was a good thing. But after we walked through one part of the woods to a more densely forested area, we began spotting plastic bottles and cans of beer. We walked along the trail picking up all the trash we could spot, including a frisbee and water bottles floating by the bank of Dallenbach’s Lake. As we reached the opposite side of the woods, we headed back checking for the second round to make sure no trash was left behind. Dallenbach looked amazing with its fall foliage. We were glad to have helped to keep it as beautiful as it can be.

Volunteers: Benjamin Hong (1.5 hours), Tarun Sivakumar (1.5 hours), Amy Xu (1.5 hours), Xinning Lucy Liu (1.5 hours), Jason Liu (1.5 hours), Alicia Xu (1.5 hours), Jessica Hong (1.5 hours)
