AYLUS Raritan Valley Participates Supported Community Wellness Event on October 1, 2023

On October 1st, 2023, the volunteers at AYLUS Raritan Valley Branch participated in East Brunswick Day, in order to promote our branch to other people who may have never heard of it before. EB Day is a special event in East Brunswick that happens once a year. Companies, clubs, and organizations come together to promote their causes and encourage engagement, often giving out or selling goods. This time EB Day lasted for 4 hours, starting from noon. The volunteers worked at a specific booth #132.
At the end, 11 people volunteered at EB Day and raised a total of 69 dollars. Since the event was long, the Raritan Valley Branch prepared pizza and water for the volunteers that signed up. To fundraise for our branch, we sold bags of chips, toys, and Asian lychee drinks while spreading awareness of our organization with a tri-fold that presented our events and a membership form. Our volunteers also donated old books to be given out for free to foster literary success to people of all ages. All the funds that came from our sales will be donated or invested in future events.
