On July 7th, 2020, three students from Collierville, Tennessee founded the sixty-ninth branch for the Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States (AYLUS): Greater Memphis, TN.

Description of the Greater Memphis Branch
Our objective as the Greater Memphis Branch is to serve and improve our community, mainly by volunteering and contributing, but also to set an example for young children. The primary goal of this branch is to strengthen the skills of collaboration and initiative among peers throughout various services and activities. Although the current pandemic has limited some of these activities due to social distancing, it has opened newer opportunities. We want to make use of this time and do what we can to help, whether it be hosting fundraisers to buy face masks, tutoring other children, or even performing park cleanups in small groups. Throughout these services, we hope to encourage and influence leadership, responsibility, integrity, and self-discipline, which we believe are all important life skills.
Anyone with an interest and passion dedicated to the advancement of our community is welcome to our branch. We want every idea to be heard, every action to be taken. Your contributions will help make our branch, but most importantly, the community, a better place.
