On February 18th, Sophia Yi tutored Maxwell. They practiced reading comprehension questions and identified adverbs, while reviewing similes and metaphors.
On February 25, they worked on grammar rules and learned about commas, semicolons, colons, conjunctions, and hyphens.
On February 11th, 18th, and 25th, Elissa Hyun tutored Alice ELA. They read “Bad Eating Experience” and answered questions based on a true and false section. They also read a poem and answered questions relating to the rhyme scheme.
On February 21st, Karis Ko tutored Chris on different books and famous authors in China and America.
On February 27th, they talked about different countries’ flags, verbal descriptions, and different accents around the world.
Annie Zhao tutored Eric Fiona on February 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th. They worked on the Khan Academy grade 3 reading practice by watching videos, completing questions, and researching on topics they read about. Outside of Khan Academy, they real-world article comprehension articles with practice problems.
