The AYLUS Bellaire Branch volunteered at Undies for Everyone on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Undies for Everyone is an NPO (Non-Profit Organization) located in Houston, TX; the main goal of Undies for Everyone is to alleviate the underwear shortage in the status quo. Undies for Everyone provides new underwear for over 100,000 children in the U.S. Through underwear donations, more children around the U.S have access to new underwear which directly leads to an increased performance in school, an increase in self esteem, and better health overall. Undies for Everyone has been featured on CNN Heroes for how impactful they have been.
Volunteers from AYLUS Bellaire helped unpack boxes of underwear, sort underwear, and put sorted underwear in boxes that are to be shipped out.
