On September 17, 2022, Murrieta AYLUS members Hsin Chen(Julie) Lu, Jessica Lu, and Adora Xiao continued their “Thank You Firefighters” Campaign.
“I’m the best navigator!” a member declared as they pulled into Station 5 after a few obscure turns. The members added finishing touches to the handwritten card, before delivering it alongside the water, food, and flowers. They then moved on to Station 1, where a firefighter generously offered to show members the inside of the fire truck. With excited squeals, members eagerly awaited their turn to climb in and take photos. After a brief photoshoot, members learned that when firefighters were out, others from other stations would cover for them. Thus, they’d be seeing a familiar face the next day!
