The AYLUS Bellaire Branch volunteered at the Light and Salt Association in Houston, Texas on Saturday, November 20, 2021, from 9am to 11:30am.
The non-profit organization is committed to provide health care and assistance to the vulnerable. The volunteers were offered an opportunity to attend in reception-like duties. Their efforts incorporated tasks such as answering phone calls in multiple languages, helping set-up appointments, plus directing clients into and out of the building premises. Attendees were also given an opportunity to make themselves familiar with different insurance related services within the session.
There were three volunteers that participated in the volunteer opportunity (2.5 hours): Helena Wang, Emerald Tang, and Kyle Tang.
