Aylus Missouri City Branch member Albert Zhou volunteered to teach a third-grader contest math to prepare him for the upcoming math competition. Albert prepared the study materials well and conducted a dynamic and interactive study session with the third-grader via zoom. This genuine math talk from a six grader motivates the third-grader in studying and alleviates his parent’s burden when juggling between work and kids’ online school during the pandemic. The tutoring was an hour.
