On July 22nd, 2020, the Austin Branch hosted its third free, online art lesson for elementary and middle school students. In this lesson, we taught students how to draw feet. We taught students how hands should be drawn from different angles, and went through the basic features and the anatomy of human feet. Our lesson went over concepts such as sketching using basic shapes, how to blend, how to shade, and how to create highlights. Students followed along as the instructor gave step-by-step instructions on how to draw each feature. After teaching each feature, we gave feedback to each student on their drawing. Our third art class went very well and we wrapped up our art lesson series with around 30 participants!
