“I learned that 175,000 graduates have benefited from the fund since the beginning of 1944-1975”.

Wenting Chen wrote out 1926: Joseph R. Willie v. Harris County pg. 228. and the 11926: Joseph R. Willie v. Harris County pg. 227.

“I learned that racism still isn’t fair back then and I learned that people had parties/dances at Sylvan Beach”.

Charisse Qin did the Case File of Joseph Brown.

“I learned about Joseph Brown.  I also learned more about how they organized forms back then and also about different abbreviations for ranks in the military. Transcribed pages 2 and 7, along with some tagging on 7.”

Jiyu Wang  transcribed Documentations and Stateemts from Case 4798: pages 14, 17, 58, and 60.

“The transcription process took me 2 hours. Pages 14 and 17 talk about what abili’s are and what they prove in regards to crime. An alibi is can show proof that convicted didn’t commit the crime because he/she was somewhere else when the crime was committed. Page 58 is part of a questionnaire to someone. Through the responses to the questions, I learned that whoever was interviewed was he/she was undered the protection of agents and took care of his/her own expenses. Page 60 was part of a letter written to Hon. E. B. Howard talking about the case regarding Wiliiam K. Hale.”

Ziqing Kuang transcribed the Nebraska MPS Apartments at 2514 North 16th Street .

It is a part of a series called National Register of Historic Places and National Historic Landmarks Program Records, 2013-2017. I transcribed the letter from Edson Beall, historian, discussing the property listed on the National Register of Historic Places”.

Finally, Amy Xie copied the VF-14 – ASW Rep #1-Action against enemy submarine off Guam Island, Marianas, 7/10/44.

“This took me about half an hour to do because the historical document I was transcribing was a map! I thought it was really cool how this map was actually used to take down an enemy submarine and it looked like there was a lot of careful planning and calculation put into the map making.”
