Window Painting at Marlborough Public Library

On Tuesday, March 3, members of MAYLUS volunteered at the Children’s Corner at Marlborough Public Library. To celebrate National Read Across America Day, Dr. Seuss’ birthday, and National Reading Month, the library invited teens to help redecorate the Children’s Corner by repainting their windows. After cleaning and scraping previous artwork celebrating Valentine’s Day off the glass, volunteers spent the afternoon painting various characters and phrases from Dr. Seuss’ children’s books onto the library’s windows.

Thanks to Marlborough Public Library and everyone who attended!

All participating members will receive two (2) hours of volunteer service.
