AYLUS Scottsdale creates a tutoring program to help kids with different subjects

In July, AYLUS Scottsdale created a tutoring program to help younger children during summer break. Members and Leadership of AYLUS Scottdale tutored subjects that will be helpful for the tutees in the future.

How is how the Tutoring System Works In AYLUS Scottsdale:

Tutors and Tutees register using Google Forms and are added to a google spreadsheet containing the tutor and tutee information. After registering using Google Forms, the tutors have then shared the document and can choose any tutee that they are comfortable with. The tutor contacts the tutee via the information provided in the google spreadsheet, and together they schedule a time to meet. The tutor hosts a zoom meeting with the tutee, and at that specific time and date, the tutor helps with the tutee on what their weakness is.

Highlights:

  1. More than half the tutees needed help with Pre-algebra and English.
  2. Most of the tutees are 4th-grade students.
  3. Some tutors managed to tutor 2 people, and other tutors even managed to tutor even 3 people!
