From roughly 9:00am to 10:30 am, members worked with other volunteers under the leadership of Houston Food Bank supervisors to create Senior boxes, which are boxes of meals that support senior citizens. The volunteering took place within the Houston Food Bank warehouse with moderate temperatures. The volunteers brought food to those packing the Senior boxes. After helping clean up, they were informed that they had completed 3 pallets worth of food. After the fifteen minute break, the volunteers started working at first sort for the carousel where they sorted donated products into different categories from 10:45 am to 12:00 pm. These would be packed into Food Bank boxes and distributed.
