Pearland Branch Takes Pride in Volunteering the Fishing Future Event on May 4, 2024

On May 4th, 2024, the Aylus Pearland community participated in the Fishing Future
Event held at Meridiana's Oasis Village in Iowa Colony, Texas. This event aimed to
promote community engagement, environmental awareness, and the joy of fishing,
particularly among youth. The highlight of the event was the setup of an iCatch portable
and accessible fish tank, enabling participants of all ages and abilities to experience the
thrill of fishing firsthand.

Aylus Pearland's involvement was made possible through an invitation by T21 Family
Outreach. The event commenced at 10:00 AM, with enthusiastic volunteers from Aylus
crafting balloons to attract more children to participate. "Fishing for the Future" drew a
diverse crowd of residents from Iowa Colony and neighboring communities. Families,
friends, and individuals of all ages converged to bond over the shared experience of
fishing and outdoor recreation. The event fostered a sense of camaraderie and unity
within the community, with participants exchanging tips, stories, and laughter throughout
the day.
