On May 5th, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS organized a performance for the seniors in honor of Mother’s Day.
Members split the group into two, with one group performing at the Memory Care center and the other performing at the Independent Living. Members had to adjust along the way since there were some bumps along the way but at both buildings, the performance was successful. The performance included a variety of showings, including violin, piano, dance, singing, and the guitar! At the Independent Living, members were surprised with lots of snacks and sweet treats. They made sure to clean up after themselves so that there wouldn’t be a mess when they left. All the seniors enjoyed the performance and everyone took a group picture at the end to keep the memory.
