On September 7th, AYLUS Syosset held a volunteer-led community basketball event at Syosset Woodbury Park. Participants composed of all age groups were led by our Syosset AYLUS branch volunteers. Our volunteers focused on dribbling, passing, shooting, and communication skills over a four hour clinic. Older kids played in a scrimmage, while younger kids enjoyed supervised freeplay. This event encourages outdoor activity and positive social interaction among local youth.
