Today at Ridge Oak, volunteers helped seniors with several technology questions. One senior needed assistance learning how to navigate WeChat Moments, and the volunteer explained how to view posts and updates shared by friends. Another senior needed help using Google Maps, so the volunteer demonstrated how to search for locations, navigate the map, and access directions.
At today’s technology support session, volunteers helped seniors become more comfortable using social media and navigation applications. Through patient, hands-on guidance, residents gained practical skills that made it easier to stay connected with others and navigate unfamiliar places.
