On Friday, 9/18/2026, 3 members of AYLUS taught students ranging from 4th-graders to 9th-graders in various math topics at the local Chinese school, the Newtown Yardley Chinese School. Randall Zhang (Event Leader), Daniel Tang, and Bryce Han participated, teaching from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Our volunteers taught two different classes, one for 6+ grade and one for 4th and 5th grade students. During the teaching time, the 6+-grade class, taught by Bryce Han, covered the enhanced topics in Algebra. The 4th-5th-grade class, taught by Randall Zhang and Daniel Tang, covered 2020(G3-G4) in Math Kangaroo. Both members had an enjoyable time teaching and felt that they had gotten through a considerable amount of content, positively impacting young students within the community by providing advanced math instruction and review.
