Following Halloween, AYLUS Morris Branch members organized the collection of leftover candy from community members. Thanks to the generosity and participation of local families, the branch successfully collected approximately 30 pounds of Halloween candy. This donation demonstrated how a simple contribution could become a meaningful way to express gratitude and support for those serving our country.

On the morning of November 5, 2026, at approximately 11:00 AM, AYLUS Morris Branch members delivered the collected candy to the local Treats for Troops donation location at 210 South St, New Providence, NJ 07974. The members carefully transported the candy and completed the donation, ensuring that the collected treats could be included in the program’s efforts to distribute Halloween candy to military personnel.

This activity provided AYLUS Morris Branch members with an opportunity to practice community engagement, teamwork, and volunteer responsibility while supporting a cause that recognizes the dedication and sacrifices of military service members. It also encouraged community members to think beyond Halloween celebrations and consider how unused candy could be repurposed to brighten someone else’s day.

AYLUS Morris Branch is grateful to everyone who contributed candy and supported this initiative. Through partnerships with community programs like Treats for Troops, the branch continues to promote compassion, gratitude, and civic responsibility while creating opportunities for young volunteers to make a positive difference in their communities.
