Today at Ridge Oak, volunteers helped a senior learn how to download and install ChatGPT on their iPad. The volunteer guided the senior through locating the application in the App Store, downloading it, and opening it for the first time. The volunteer also explained the basic functions of the application and how it could be used to answer questions and access information.
At today’s technology support session, volunteers helped seniors become more familiar with emerging technology and artificial intelligence applications. Through patient, step-by-step guidance, residents gained confidence in exploring new digital tools and understanding their practical uses.
