AYLUS Houston Branch The Ballard House Baking Volunteering on June 27, 2026
On June 27, 2026, a group of AYLUS Houston Branch volunteers in a baking event at The Ballard House in Katy, Texas. Six of us spent three hours baking homemade desserts for the residents there.
The Ballard House provided all the ingredients, and we got to work in their kitchen baking cookies and cupcakes. We split up the tasks among ourselves including mixing, baking, and decorating. Everyone had a fun and rewarding experience working together as a team. Everyone contributed and we were able to put together a nice spread of freshly baked treats for the residents.
