Spring Service Day Brings Joy: AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Volunteers at ALFC Generosity Center (03/16/2024)

On a sunny spring morning of March 16, 2024, the ALFC Generosity Center came alive with the energy of twelve AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch volunteers. These dedicated middle and high school students gathered for a food distribution event, committed to making a positive impact in their community.

From 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, the volunteers worked tirelessly to organize and distribute a wide array of food items to community members in need. The variety of tasks, from sorting produce to managing distribution lines, was met with enthusiasm and teamwork. Their collective effort ensured a smooth and successful event, with each volunteer playing a crucial role in its execution.

The experience was not only about providing assistance but also about learning the value of compassion and community support. The smiles and words of thanks from those they helped were a powerful motivation, reinforcing the significance of their volunteer work.

The 12 volunteers who contributed their time and energy were Haoyu Zhang, Bryan Wang, Ryan Wang, Yixin Qian, Jiaxi Zhang, Xinnuo Huang, Zhuzhu, Yanya Chen, Zichen Zhu, Ziyu Zhu, Elvis Wang, and Siyu Cao. Each volunteer had contributed 5 hours of their time for volunteer service, demonstrating the profound impact that young individuals can have when they come together for a common purpose.
