Pearland Branch Volunteers for Data Tracking Project of LSA in March 2024

As a long-time partner of AYLUS Pearland, light and salt association (LSA) stated their need for a data tracking system in order to better track their volunteer events and classes progress. In collaboration with a professional DBA, AYLUS members Jonathan Niu, Matthew Niu, Ranbin Yao, Aiden Li, Katherine Wu and Alvin Zheng using Apex Oracle platform, built a database called Innovaflow. This database has been built and in use for LSA and AYLUS Pearland, as well as a few other AYLUS branches.

During the month of March 2024, the volunteers created new database for AYLUS Houston branch, They export application and scripts from AYLUS Pearland database, and imported into the newly requested AYLUS Houston workspace. After that, they ran and tested scripts in the new database, created pilot tables to ensure the new database work well. This month volunteers also worked on maintaining and tuning our current database with LSA and other AYLUS branches.

Job duties:

Jonathan Niu, Matthew Niu: Creating accounts for all users, making new workspace for other AYLUS branches, calculate statistics, generate reports and data entry.

Ranbin Yao: maintain database, data entry
