On March 11, 2017, the 13 members of AYLUS’s Columbus Branch performed at the Senior Star Retirement Village. Beginning at 6 and ending at 7, each volunteer played their respective instruments with the hope to entertain the seniors in mind. There were violins, pianos, violas, a saxophone, and a flute. Each instrument gave off its own different experiences with the unique solos, filling the retirement center with melodic music. The seniors also encouraged and enjoyed the youths’ talents, and filled the playing area past capacity.
Members who performed were Amy Xuan, Eileen Liang, Emma Yu, Evan Yu, Alice Nie, Michelle Zong, Michelle Lin, Jason Guo, Lawrence Zhang, Aidan Li, Dustin He, Jacob Liu, and Ayden He.
