On March 4th , AYLUS Pearland members performed at Pearland High School for the
International Festival. AYLUS members formed a choir that includes Chinese American students
and two non-Asian members. The members performed a resounding Chinese song called “Xiang
Qin Xiang Ai”. All volunteers worked diligently for this performance with countless hours of the
rehearsals. With all the hard work, the AYLUS choir performance was successful and received
great applauses from the audience. After the performance, all AYLUS choir members greeted
the Mayor of Pearland, Tom Reid, and took pictures with our friendly Mayor. AYLUS
Pearland branch would like to thank all the members that put in lots of effort into this
performance, and their parents for support, we would also thank the organizer who hosted this
International Festival.
