On July 31st, the AYLUS Frisco and Plano Branch hosted another zoom meeting to further improve the English skills of the elderly. Many seniors come from another country and don’t understand English, making it hard for them to communicate with their neighbors in the US. As a result, it becomes hard for them to engage in daily social activities and that’s what we try to help by hosting these classes. By walking the seniors through English conversations bit by bit and translating them, the seniors can grasp knowledge of a new language and improve their English speaking skills. Good work to all the members who helped participate in this tutoring session!
