On December 25, 2023, AYLUS members assembled presents to give to elderly at Flushing Nursing Home. The presents included eco-friendly products such as bamboo toothbrushes, wood pulp wash sponges, plastic-free paper laundry detergent, and biodegradable soap boxes and plates. AYLUS Oyster Bay is dedicated to encouraging more eco-friendly consumption of products and believe that the presents will both spread the warmth of Christmas spirit to the elderly and help create a world that is a little more accommodating to the Earth. The event aims to create a meaningful holiday for residents of Flushing Nursing Home. The presents will be distributed to Flushing Nursing Home on December 29.
