On December 22, 2023, a group of AYLUS volunteers performed a festive concert for the senior residents of Plano Pioneer Place Senior Housing. The performance consisted of a plethora of Christmas pieces– played on the piano and strings.
In advance, a separate group of volunteers made 30 holiday cards for those residing in the senior home, which were distributed on the day of the concert. Volunteers used construction paper, markers, colored pencils, beads, and a variety of other media to create these cards. By utilizing their time and talent, volunteers spread the holiday cheer and displayed a selfless desire to aid their community, bringing joy to those around them.
