On the 23th of June, 2026, AYLUS Lake Washington members Elissa Song, Kevin Chen, Yufei Ye, and Xingchen Song volunteered at the Big Rock Park Central Heritage Garden with the Sammamish Botanical Garden Society. They helped remove invasive plants in the garden, plant overgrowth, dead leaves, and learned about important environmental skills and various ways to effectively identify weeds. Our members agree that this was an amazing opportunity to help out in the community and contribute positively to the environment. They each volunteered for two hours, starting at 10:00 AM and ending at 12:00 PM.
