On July 27th & August 3rd, Murrieta AYLUS members helped out with the Little Garden of Hope Project.
On the 27th, Members brought along with them a organic pesticide killing spray that wouldn’t hurt the plants, but would get rid of the bugs that ate the plants. They sprayed all the vegetables in the garden, making sure the whole plant is covered, members also mixed more fertilizer into each of the beds. After doing so, they thoroughly watered the beds and tidied up the place.
On the 3rd, the members did some weeding and watered each of the beds before harvesting some vegetables. They are pleased to see that their produce is growing so well.
