On August 22nd, members of the AYLUS Syosset branch joined a garden service activity at SANGHA Learning Center. During the event, volunteers transported mulch from the house to the garden using wheelbarrows and shovels, spreading it to support healthy plant growth throughout the space. Members also removed weeds along the fence line, helping keep the garden looking clean and well-maintained. In a memorable moment, the group came across a family of snakes and carefully relocated them back into the surrounding ecosystem, ensuring the local wildlife remained undisturbed. This activity was a fun and meaningful experience that allowed us to make a real difference in the community. We learned more about garden maintenance and environmental stewardship, worked together as a team, and helped make the space cleaner and more beautiful for everyone to enjoy.
