AYLUS Oakland Gardens Branch Members Organize and Teach STEM+Robotics on Friday, August 11th, 2023

On August 11, 2023, the Oakland Gardens Branch Members taught the basic flow of robotics, including types of robotics there is, the breakdown of it, and the different things that happen in robotics to students online for an hour with our advisor overlooking the process. A poster and sign up sheet was created and sent out to the community to recruit students. The material and curriculum were made beforehand. This is to provide an opportunity to our community where STEM isn’t really a part of school teachings. With this opportunity, we are able to teach and give the kids more knowledge in STEM and robotics, allowing them to use this to further pursue it in the future.

Our mentors include:

Jia Qi Liu (Angela): 1 hour
Susan Yang: 1 hour
Jessica Lin: 1 hour
Andy Chen: 1 hour
