On July 13th, 2023, Murrieta AYLUS Members went to CRV Recycling to recycle the recyclables they collected. When they arrived, they got a bucket for glass bottles, and then separated the plastic bottles and aluminun cans into different bins. Members were diligent and careful as to not accidentally place the different recyclable in the wrong bin. They also learned that some bottles couldn’t be recycled because they didn’t have a specific label and after, members were cautious about looking at similar bottles and placing them aside for regular disposal. Members earned a total of $18.19 and hope to collect more bottles soon!
