On June 26, AYLUS volunteers worked at Ed White elementary school to help the teachers with teaching the students. The volunteers were split into different classes, ranging from 1 st to 5 th grade. They assisted the teachers with teaching math, science, and English to the students by helping them understand difficult problems. In the afternoon, they attended the students to recess.
The students at Ed White are enjoyable and we were able to help them learn and understand new topics, as well as help make the teacher bear less burden. It was a great way for AYLUS volunteers to make a difference in the students at Ed White.
