On Sunday, May 28, 2023, AYLUS Twin Cities volunteered at a senior’s home in St. Louis Park, MN. The 4 AYLUS members worked from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM weeding the backyard and packing the weeds into large bags for disposal. Not only were we able to get great sunlight and exercise, but we also enjoyed connecting with the senior. She is an adult English teacher in Minneapolis, so she understood the lives of students, making it easy to bond with her. We really enjoyed this experience, and it was great getting to help seniors with their yards again!
