On April 15, 2023, members of the AYLUS San Diego Branch took time out of their day to volunteer their photography skills to capture the excitement of a local swim and dive meet. The event was held at Rancho Bernado High School 1 – 6pm on Saturday afternoon.
The AYLUS San Diego Branch is a community-based organization that focuses on empowering youth to develop their leadership skills through community service. By volunteering their time and skills to photograph the swim and dive meet, members were able to give back to their community.
The event itself was a great success, with students from several local high schools competing in various swim and dive events. The AYLUS volunteers were able to capture the excitement and energy of the event, the team spirit, and documenting the achievements of the participants as they competed.
The following members participated in this event for 4 volunteer hours each (3 hours of photo shooting and 1 hour of post-processing):
