On April 6th, 2023, Murrieta members went to clean up a beach in Del Mar. The weather was perfect, with rays of sunshine beaming through the clouds and a cool breeze to even out the temperature. Members started at the park, which was currently under construction. They picked up trash while admiring the chubby squirrels sitting on the table. Then, members walked onto the beach and found things like a Del Taco bag, confetti, ribbon, candy wrappers, etc. After walking through the beach, members made their way up to the parking lot and found a tiny gopher sitting between some plants. As members decided to call it a day and walk back, they encountered a dog and couldn’t help but stop to pet and appreciate how cute she was. Members walked up the beach walk and disposed of their trash. People thanked members for their service to keep the enviroment clean!
