Murrieta AYLUS Helps STAT Horse Sanctuary (11th) (3/25/23)

Reported by Adora Xiao

On March 25, 2022, Murrieta AYLUS visited the STAT horse sanctuary. The morning began with greeting the pigs, goats, and Jack the turkey. After a quick chase after Jack to catch him into his pen, they began cleaning the area. After scooping the poop, they then took brushes, dipped them in water, and brushed the fur of the goats and pigs to clean them. They moved to different areas, cleaning, brushing, and petting animals as they went, before taking a short break. Afterwards, they inspected the garden, which had shown some slight growth since the last visit. To round out the day, they mucked out some of the horse’s stalls, avoiding the muddy areas to leave for a separate day, as the mud made cleaning some stalls nearly impossible. They then washed their hands and congratulated each other for the hard work.
